This blog provides resources for a unit that covers the birth and expansion of Islam, the Caliphate, a few resources about the interaction between European Christianity and Islam, al-Andalus, and Islamic Art. Resources include lesson plans, videos, websites for student and teacher research, scholarly articles that discuss how we teach and understand Islam, and primary sources that students can use to conduct their own research.
